Why ADC remains calm- Bolaji Abdullahi,
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the All-Progressives Congress (APC) of targeting theb party despite its dominant political position.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, made the remark while featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
Abdullahi said the ADC remained composed and focused, insisting that the ruling party appears unsettled.
“We in the ADC are calm because we know what we are doing, but they, the APC, are the ones; after having about 34 governors in their camp and almost all the National Assembly, they are still panicking. They are still sponsoring court cases against the ADC,” he said.
He further alleged that the APC frequently references the ADC iAPCn its political discourse while simultaneously attempting to undermine the party.
“They can’t have a conversation without talking about the ADC, they say ADC is comatose, it is this or that, instigating our members against us.
“Those who can barely afford to feed are now hiring senior advocate of Nigeria and we say that it just doesn’t add up,” he added.
Abdullahi also dismissed concerns about the party’s viability, maintaining that there is no legal or political risk in contesting elections under the ADC platform.
“It’s not legally and politically dangerous for anyone to run on the platform of the ADC,” he stated.
