A northern  social media influencer, Sarki who goes by the name @Waspapping on X, formerly Twitter has called for the release of the Supreme leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Sarki made the call after  Borno State governor Babagana Zulum reintegrated 720 repented terrorists  to their communities after they completed a rehabilitation and deradicalisation programme aimed at helping them live peacefully in the society.

Following the development, Sarki said: “There is absolutely no justification for rehabilitating and reintegrating terrorists into society while innocent citizens continue to suffer from their actions. At this point, it is difficult to justify why Nnamdi Kanu remains in prison.”

He asserted  that if the government is willing to pardon, rehabilitate, and reintegrate former terrorists into society, then “it should also consider extending the same approach to Nnamdi Kanu.”

Disturbed by the government’s action, Sarki said: “You’re releasing 720 terrorists who have murdered thousands of innocent civilians back into our communities, and you expect insecurity to come to an end?

Stupid leaders. Hate you guys with everything in me,” Sarki said in one of his posts.

Reigning curses on the government, Sarki said: “It will not be well with the people we call leaders in this part of the world. This is why people from other regions keep insulting us, and frankly, they’re right.”
