Cultural Hangout Festival, IAACCF partner to promote African culture globally
The Cultural Hangout Festival (CHF), a Nigeria-UK based cultural platform, has officially entered a strategic partnership with the International African Arts, Crafts & Culture Fair (IAACCF), Canada, through the signing of a Memorandum ofUnderstanding (MoU).
This partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening global collaboration in the promotion of African arts, culture, and creative industries. Under the agreement, both organizations will work together to support cultural exchange, expand opportunities for artists and creatives, and increase global visibility for African cultural expressions. The collaboration also reflects a shared commitment to cultural diplomacy, diaspora engagement, and economic development through the creative sector.
The partnership will focus on several key areas, including:
- Joint promotion of cultural events and initiatives
- Co-creation of cultural and creative industry projects
- Talent and vendor exchange across international platforms
- Youth cultural education and heritage awareness programs
- Training and capacity building in cultural entrepreneurship
- Media and documentary storytelling on African culture
- Exploration of jointly hosted events and global expansion opportunities
Through these initiatives, CHF and IAACCF aim to create a stronger ecosystem for African creatives, connecting local talent to global audiences while preserving and promoting cultural heritage. Building Bridges Between Africa and the Diaspora Speaking on the partnership, Aihawu Victor, CEO/Founder of Cultural Hangout Festival (CHF), noted: “This partnership is about more than events—it is about building meaningful connections between Africa and the diaspora through culture. Additionally, both organizations will explore new models of collaboration, including co-hosted cultural events and joint initiatives in multiple countries, further positioning African culture within the global creative economy.
