The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has expressed its strong support for Dr. Mohammed Goje, following his recent appointment as the Acting Secretary to the State Government of Yobe State. The association, led by National President Khalil Mohd Bello, commended Dr. Goje for his enthusiasm and commitment to advancing the policies and programs of Governor Mai Mala Buni.

Since the announcement of Dr. Goje’s appointment, discussions surrounding his leadership have gained momentum across Damaturu and other towns in Yobe State. Many view the appointment as timely, particularly given Dr. Goje’s reputation as the former Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), where he exhibited exceptional leadership during crises, including the response to flooding in Maiduguri and surrounding areas.

KACRAN noted the overwhelming goodwill surrounding Dr. Goje’s assumption of office, which was celebrated by Permanent Secretaries, Directors, traditional leaders, Special Advisers, security officials, media representatives, and numerous well-wishers. “We are impressed by the smooth transition and the immediate positive energy Dr. Goje has brought to the Office of the SSG,” Bello stated. “His articulate remarks during the handover and his proactive engagements in his first week demonstrate his understanding of the responsibilities ahead.”

The association highlighted Dr. Goje’s prior experience working closely with the Governor’s Office and the former SSG, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, as an asset in coordinating government operations. His consultative approach, which includes meetings with key stakeholders, has further bolstered public confidence in his capabilities.

KACRAN also commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for selecting a dedicated public servant committed to fulfilling the administration’s campaign promises. Additionally, the association praised Yobe State Head of Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa Shehu, for his efforts in enhancing the state’s civil service through training initiatives, particularly the ongoing training of Yobe State teachers in Kaduna.

KACRAN reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote good governance, security, and the welfare of pastoralists and all citizens of Yobe State, pledging to continue its partnership with the state government in achieving these objectives.
