Fulham set to offload Super Eagles star
Premier League side Fulham F.C. will not be signing Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze on a permanent deal following the expiration of his loan spell from AC Milan.
Chukwueze joined Fulham on a season-long loan from the Serie A club last summer but is now set to return to Milan after the English club opted not to activate the purchase option in his contract.
The 27-year-old Super Eagles star recorded three goals and four assists during his time with the Cottagers.
According to Italian outlet Tuttomercato, Fulham have informed AC Milan of their decision not to retain the winger beyond the loan agreement, paving the way for his return to Italy this summer.
Chukwueze struggled to establish himself during a difficult two-year stint at AC Milan before securing the temporary move to Fulham in search of regular playing time.
