Adeboye silent on criticizing Tinubu, admits protesting against Jonathan
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has broken silence on his activities against the regime of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The cleric has been severally criticized for being very vocal against the Jonathan’s regime and not speaking against the economic challenges brought upon the citizens by the policies of the President Bola Tinubu led administration.
Speaking during a workers’ meeting at Redemption City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday, Adeboye admitted “I have protested before during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.”
He, however didn’t speak on why he is not doing similar thing with the present government.
Instead, he went on to say that while politicians are welcome to attend services at the camp, “they would not be allowed to speak or use the altar for campaign purposes.”
